When the cat urinates on the floor spray the cat with water and tell it no.
After that has been done take a spray bottle with half vinegar and half water and saturate the spot then take baking soda and sprinkle kind of heavily over that.
Let the baking soda absorb the vinegar and water as well as the urine and then vacuum the spot.
Eventually the cat will not do this any longer.
Cats dislike the smell of vinegar so besides taking away the ammonia smell left from the cat it leaves a smell that only the cats can smell to tell them not to urinate there again.
I have four cats now and have had many in my lifetime i swear by this method.
I have had many others try this and they tell me it works for them too.
