alan carpetbaggers::The data came from the third national health and nutritional examination survey, which consisted of roughly 20,000 people with an average age of 38years old.
All of these people who took part in the study had a blood sample taken to be analyzed.
What researchers found by looking at these samples was that there was a dirrect link between low levels of vitamin d, and a higher risk of developing the common cold of other respiratory infections.
This compared directly to those who had 3 times as much vitamin d.
This is not the first positive thing found about vitamin d, as it has also been found to be able to protect from multiple sclerosis, colon cancer, etc.
